Mother Dove-Inspired by my father's poem in Farsi

Juvenile Dove not yet fully fledged
Plump but a baby with his tiny legs
Left his nest and boasted with pride
"I'm ready for this journey and this ride"

Baby Dove made his way to top of the roof
Perched on the ledge excited and aloof
"I'm powerful and now willing to fly
Set to spread my wings and tour the sky"

Stared out into the horizon and admired the view
Suddenly saw an eagle majestically he flew
Glorious Eagle strewed his wings wide
Flashed his magnitude and his smooth glide

Posture of the eagle the baby bird mimicked
"I'm just as impressive noble and splendid"
Eagle slowly disappeared and flew out of sight
Little bird gloated and relished his might

"I may seem trifling and somewhat delicate
Yet  I fly like a falcon his show to replicate
From now my new world is to begin
Prepared for the game of life eager to win"

Mother bird gone and now baby Dove free
No more advice and stories, "mommy let me be"
Free of warnings of wind and gust
Tales of Hunters and eagles overly cussed!

Mommy's advice on snow and rain
How of the spring storms Dove should refrain
"Humans are brutal and proven to be ruthless
Have made lions act like mice, savages and heartless"

Juvenile bird liberated and unbound
All he could think of was the blue sky he found
With no worries of dangers mother spoke of
Or concerns of what mother was for him in search of

Little bird fluttered through the cutting breeze
Exhilirated and ecstacy floated with ease
With no fear of the dark or death from thirst
"I'm no chicken, but like a trainer I'm verssed

Like a master of camels I coach and can lead
My mother and her nourturing I really don't need!"
I am Industructable and not intimitated
By the eagle or the hunter or the tales indicated

Invincible and impatient to fly
The best at what I do watch me go high
Baby Dove bird continued to laugh and sing
Dancing through the clouds with two scattered wings

In a blink of an eye the sky was below baby's feet
The Grand Eagle appeared unexpectadly to greet
Like a master hunter with arrow and bow
The Eagle to attack his enemy and foe

Little bird's world now overturned
Remembered his mother's words now affirmed
Regretted and asked why he was so mindless
Of mothers' advice and her words of kindness

Unwise to escape your mother's love
The protection and nest of Mother Dove
Now unaware of where you are
An illusion and mirage of her a far

"Farewell devine branches and green leaves
My dearests friends, valleys and trees
I have a favor from you to ask
A message to my mother, I beg you alas"

"Mother forgive me for I was wrong
I still needed you when I thought I was strong
You are the queen and I'm the indigent
Only you know the way and I the negligent"

Whimpering and heartbroken and accepting defeat
Suddenly noted mother between him and the beast
Apprehensive and in the midst  of his weeping
His mother had appeared for his safekeeping

"sweet baby why are you here alone?
away from this eagle" in her modulated tone
My warnings and words you may neglect
love is unconditional and I'm here to protect

Startled and surprised by her presence
Astonished by her bravery and appearance
Audacity and grit was yet to suffice
But her surrendered offering and sacrifice

Baby rose and  got back his courage
Quickly grew stronger and rapidly flourished
Said goodbye to mother for the last time he knew
Away to safety and away he flew
