a house of glass
detached with no ties
travelers and strays
folks stop by
for tea and dinner
cake and  pie
a few for years
or to say just hi

a glass home
limpid and transparent
strong yet fragile
is well apparent
stylish and sexy
inviting and warm
a modern frame
core slightly worn

glass panes
windows that break
with one big jolt
or a small quake
new found cracks
aftershock ceases
damage is done
parts are in pieces

a glass house
now cold and empty
all the doors locked
with only one key
a haunted space
and open windows
swish swosh swish
ghostly.... wind blows
