Less is more once again. I move
back into my loft in January. And
although at one point I thought I needed more than what this space had offered
me, it is clear now that this same space is just simply perfect in so many
ways.
After having lived in a beautiful five bedroom home in the Bel Air,
California, with an amazing view of the canyons, although gorgeous, I quickly learned
that t I was simply living a lie for reasons that are irrelevant at this
point. The homes I bought in Sherman Oaks
and in Hollywood, did not present me with those elements of individuality and
creativity that I was looking for. I
needed a space that served as a blank canvas, waiting to evolve into something Personal. This loft has given me just that.
Really, to be able to live freely, make your own choices and have the
freedom of expression is true happiness.
Is it not?
While small…it is exactly what makes me happy at this moment. In the heart of South Pasadena, I find here
that I can be me. I find my little
space gives me the freedom to express myself through music and creativity. In addition I have developed a love for my
neighbors who are made up of artists, choreographers, photographers and
Designers. How cool is that?
The concrete floors, high ceilings and the exposed piping present my
place as modern. While my more
traditional, ethnic, exotic furniture from India, Indonesia and the Orient,
gives makes my place warm and inviting.
I really am excited to return to my sweet home. I hope you will all have a chance to come visit and see how I choose to live. See you there.
